Timeclock

The Timeclock feature in the Vital Select app is used to clock in and out, view shifts and view time records. To access the Timeclock , first log into the POS, and then select the Timeclock button on the home screen. This will direct you to the Timeclock screen. On the top of the Timeclock screen you will see three tabs; Timeclock, My Shifts, and All Shifts. On the right side of the screen there will be a Shifts Viewer that shows the most current shift information by default.

 

Timeclock

The Timeclock tab displays the current date and time for the location. From the Timeclock tab you can choose to clock in or clock out for shifts and breaks. To do this just click the relevant option listed under the time and date section on the screen. Once clocked in the Timeclock tab will also show the amount of hours that an employee is clocked in and on the clock.

Note:

You must first be clocked in before a start break or an end shift option will appear.

My Shifts

On the My Shifts tab you will be able to view information of shifts that have been recorded for the individual employee currently using the POS. On the top of the screen you will see a summary record for the pay period. This will display the Total amount of shifts worked, Total Paid Hours, Clock in and out times, Total Hours and a View Summary button. On the left side of the screen you will see the pay period options listed by dates, starting with the most current at the top of the list. Select one of the dates to see the shift information for that pay period. Once a pay period is selected the individual shifts will appear in the center of the screen, showing all the information for each shift. If you choose one of those individual shifts and select the View Summary button at the top of the page, a pop-up will appear with the total shift information for that recorded pay period. You may choose to print or email the shift summary or return to the summary list.

All Shifts

For those with the proper permissions there will be a All Shifts tab at the top of the screen. The All Shifts tab shows all the recorded shift information for each employee during the current pay period. On the left side of the screen you will see the view shift options. You can choose to view all open shifts, closed shifts, all shifts or individual employees listed by their names. Once one of the options are selected the shift information will appear in the center of the screen. On the top of the screen you will see the Shifts information and an Add button. The Add button will give you the option of adding a shift for an employee. On the bottom right you will see and Edit button, which will allow you to edit a chosen shift. There will also be a Delete button allowing you to delete a chosen shift. On the top right of the screen you will see the options to Print or Email the summary as needed.
